Growing internationally company active in the aviation industry with offices in seven countries in Europe and Africa is looking for an HR Administrator Payroll with several years of work experience to strengthen the HR team. You work in a small and fine team within which there is plenty of room for development and own initiative. You are directly accountable to the HR Manager / HR Business Partner.

As HR Administrator Payroll your activities are in the field of administration and payroll. You will be a specialist for preparation of payroll in different countries throughout the world. You will be contact person for our employees, external provider and local authorities around the world in payroll and HR related topics. You see yourself as a service provider for our operation and all colleagues within the Direct family around the world with a hands on mentality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate with +/- 60 employees about different HR related matters in several countries
• Maintain employee data
• Create job references, proof of work, etc. and ensuring employees receive adequate support
• Setting up interviews and corresponding with prospective employees
• Drawing up employment contracts and ensure legal compliance
• Standardizing and optimizing HR processes
• Gathering time records from employees, calculating hours and manage that any inconsistencies or errors are resolved
• Process and maintain records of regular deductions from employee payments
• Transmit payment details to Finance department in a timely manner
• Answer any questions that employees might have about payment and work to resolve any payment issues that arise


• Detail-oriented, quantitative thinker who are adept at noticing errors
• Independent worker, self-starter power and proactive

• Excellent telephone, verbal, and written communication skills
• Fluent English and Dutch, optional German language skills
• Hands-on mentality, results driven and highly motivated
• Very good MS Office skills
• The ability to keep sensitive information confidential
• Good ethical judgment

Knowledge & Experience:
• Experience in Human Resources, assistant role or similar with PDL diploma certification
• Sound knowledge of labor laws (Dutch) and practices
• Being proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
• Knowledge regarding payroll processing
• Understanding of payroll taxes
• Proficiency in a payroll system
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing
• Proficiency in a timekeeping systems
