Direct Maintenance is a certified service provider for almost 20 years in the Aviation industry. In between flights, we take care of many well-respected airlines, such as Emirates, Etihad, TUI, UPS and many more, by providing maintenance services. We are on a mission of becoming one of the leading Line Maintenance providers in Europe and Africa. Since April 2019, Direct Maintenance is part of the Magnetic MRO group.

You will be overseeing all administrative activities related to HR payroll and make sure that there is timely execution of the monthly payrolls in Europe and Africa. Your main focus will be on Germany, and you are also the first point of contact for all HR-related matters for all our 150 employees in different countries. Our work is highly dynamic and there are many challenging HR projects that you can be a part of. As our HR specialist, you manage local employment contracts and ensure legal compliance. You are in close contact with many stakeholders from all over the world, including our station managers, our Finance colleagues, as well as external providers. Maintaining and processing records, preparing documents, and ensuring employees receive adequate support is also part of this role.

Key requirements:

To be successful in this role you should have a sound understanding of payroll calculation, social security/wage taxation and HR administration. Your working style is precise and structured, and you have a high affinity for numbers. You are at your best in a dynamic and international environment. It comes natural to you to keep sensitive information confidential. You have a no-nonsense and pro-active personality and can work both independently and as a member of a team. You are fluent in German, comfortable communicating in English and knowledge of Dutch would be a nice add-on.
