Station Maintenance Manager

Who will ensure the smooth and successful operations at our new location in Bergen, Norway (BGO).

Scope of responsibilities:

As Maintenance Manager your will be responsible for planning, coordinating, overseeing, and directing the activities for a Line Maintenance station carried out for our clients throughout the world. To lead and develop a group of employees in strategic, technical, and disciplinary terms.

You will drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of line maintenance planning and control, ensuring safety, operational, customer satisfaction and financial objectives are met or exceeded.

  • Supervision of Lead Engineers / Ground Engineers / Mechanics
  • Coordinate internal communication and communication to and from customer
  • Responsible for Facilities/Tool/Equipment and logistic requirements acc MOE
  • Ensure that all maintenance is correctly performed and certified according to the contract and MOE
  • Identify process improvements at the station with the Lead / Ground Engineers
  • Lead and develop employees in strategic, technical, and disciplinary terms
  • Supervision of all administration related to the technical handling of the carrier, according to instructions and procedures by the carrier
  • Ensures any audit corrective action is performed within the specified time and reported to the Manager QAAs Maintenance Manager your will be responsible for planning, coordinating, overseeing, and directing the activities for a Line Maintenance station carried out for our clients throughout the world. Key requirements:

  • Certificate/Diploma from College or Technical school in Aeronautical Engineering or comparable qualification
  • Current EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License A1, B1 and/or B2. or:
  • Qualifications as per appendix 4 of the EASA Part 145 (Ref: Certifying Staff not Qualified to EASA Part 66)
  • Proof of current Continuation Training status
  • Solid knowledge on 145 Legislation
  • Aircraft maintenance experience requirements as per the EASA Part 66 regulation
  • Knowledge of English (in written, read and speak)
  • Sound knowledge of report writing and customer briefing
  • Knowledge of aircraft safety rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of technical requirements and customer demands
  • Sufficient knowledge about specific operator- and type- procedures including customer demands
  • Knowledge of non-technical handling procedures and instructions
